Member Type Specimens

APA members have a fondness for typefaces and over the years have shared numerous specimens of many of the treasures in their collections. Some members have printed specimen books of the faces in their shops, others print various specimen pages for the bundle. One particularly popular bundle item ha bee the 3″x5″ specimen card, with many members filing them away for easy reference and perusal, some have been doing so for decades. This section is an effort to make some of those specimens accessible to more people as well as to capture some of the history and insights that have often accompanied them.
