Gordon Rouze, APA #602: 1927-2017

Gordon Keith Rouze, 89, died July 27, 2017. He was born August 25, 1927 to Helen and Marsh Rouze in Imperial, Nebraska.

Gordon received a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Nebraska and a Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law. During the World War II, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. For more than 30 years he was employed by National Steel Products Company in various capacities, including Vice President and Corporate Counsel.

He is survived by wife of 69 years, Gloria Way Rouze, daughter Sharon and husband Victor Huvelle, daughter Caryn and husband Joseph Powell, son Scott and wife Stacie Rouze, and son Jeffery and wife Phyllis Rouze, and seven grand-children and five great grand-children.

He was proud to have been a Scout Master, Sunday School teacher, Marine, Methodist, hobby printer, husband, son, father and friend.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Sugar Land First United Methodist Church 431 Eldridge Rd Sugar Land on Tuesday August 1 at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sugar Land First United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
