About the International Printing Museum
- Parking: There is a free parking lot for visitors. Please do not park in front of the neighboring businesses in the parking lot.
- Handicap Accessible: The museum is fully handicap accessible however, the handicap entrance is located at the rear of the building.
Getting to Carson & Torrance, CA
By Rail: Schedule your Amtrak train to arrive at Los Angeles Union Station. The Holiday Inn Los Angeles Gateway – Torrance does not offer any complimentary shuttle service to or from Union Station. You will need to arrange transportation from and back to the station.
- Public Transit: From Union Station, it short walk to grab a bus to the hotel. CLICK HERE to get to the LA Metro routes between Union Station and the hotel. It is about a 1h 25m average bus ride and walk to the hotel.
- Rental Cars: Avis and Budget both have car rental centers at LA Union Station. You can schedule a rental car in advance. It is about a 40 minute drive to the hotel.
By Air to Los Angeles International [LAX] (10 miles from Hotel): The Holiday Inn Los Angeles Gateway – Torrance does not offer any complimentary airport shuttle service. You will need to arrange transportation from and back to LAX.

- Rental Cars: All major car rental companies have car rental centers at the LAX Rental Car Center. You can schedule a rental car in advance. It is about a 25 minute drive to the hotel.
By Air to Long Beach Airport [LGB] (11 miles from Hotel): The Holiday Inn Los Angeles Gateway – Torrance does not offer any complimentary airport shuttle service. You will need to arrange transportation from and back to LGB.

By Car: Parking is available at the Holiday Inn Los Angeles Gateway – Torrance. Controlled Access Parking is $15/day and includes daily in/out privileges.
Getting Around Carson & TorrAnce, CA
Taxi Cabs, Lyft, Uber and LA Metro Bus services are available to and from the airports, train station, and to get around town. We are also facilitating car pooling between the hotel and the museum. WhatsApp will be used to communicate during the wayzgoose using the community 2026 LA Goose.
LA Metro: Fares are based on distance traveled, however, neither the hotel nor the museum are directly serviced by the LA Metro system, The hotel is about a 0.3 mile walk to the nearest pickup point. Rideshare and Taxi: Yes, plenty of both are readily available.
Hotel Shuttle Service: Their complimentary shuttle runs daily from 7:00am to 10:00pm within a 5 mile radius. The International Printing Museum is only a mile away by highway. Check with the front desk for more details, especially return service to the hotel.
Walking: It is only about a 1 mile walk between the hotel and the museum.
