Howard Warren Gelbert, 68, of Bethlehem, PA, died Jan. 19, 2017. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and also had residences in NJ and NY, before moving to Bethlehem 8 years ago. Howie was engaged in printing sales and consulting his entire career, most recently as President of 2 EM Press, a printing services and marketing analysis company. Howie has been honored many times for his work in various business and community service organizations, including the Nazareth Bath Area Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n
Predeceased by his father Sanford, his mother Muriel, and brother Alan, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ann Lydia (Stock), mother-in-law Sylvia Stock, daughter Beth Fichtel and husband Brian, son Jared and wife Jennifer, grandchildren Amanda, Rachel and Colin, brothers Lee, Mark, Robert and Neil, and sister Judy.<\/p>\n
Services: Graveside Services Sunday, Jan 22, for immediate family.<\/p>\n
A public memorial service and fundraiser will be held on Sunday, Jan. 22, at the Hellertown American Legion, 935 Main Street, Hellertown, PA at 1:30PM. Family and friends welcome.<\/p>\n
Donations can also be made to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of Lehigh Valley, 25 West 3rd Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015, an important cause to Howie.<\/p>\n
Shiva will be observed at the home of Mark Gelbert, 6 Canterbury Rd, Denville, NJ on Monday through Wednesday, 1-9PM with services at 7:30PM each night.<\/p>\n
