Using handmade tools, you will be taught to throw paint, produce basic patterns, and create mesmerizing papers for bookbinding, collage, and more.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Instructor: Mike Slawinski<\/strong><\/p>\n Morning Session, 9am-12pm, Limit of 6 Students The Heidelberg Windmill is a remarkably precise and powerful workhorse of letterpress printing. This introduction to the Windmill will explore the key elements of working with the press while learning proper safety, make-ready, automatic feed, impression, inking, and registration.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Instructor: Jenn Graves<\/strong><\/p>\n Morning Session, 9am-12pm, Limit of 6 Students We will sew slim text blocks, create a casing, choose lovely book cloths and decorative papers, and finally case in our books. Each person will leave with a unique handmade book and the skills and resource knowledge to make more at home!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Instructors: Silvia Mancini & George Bush<\/strong><\/p>\n Afternoon Session, 2pm-5pm, Limit of 8 Students Working with vintage Kingsley Hot Foil Stamping Machines, you\u2019ll learn how to set the specialized type by hand, select foils, and adjust heat, as well as time to achieve crisp, clean foil impressions.
