The annual APA Wayzgoose, or printers’ picnic, is convened somewhere in the United States each summer, a weekend letterpress affair filled with presentations, workshops, demonstrations, tours and more. A favorite each year is the Saturday flea market and auction of printers’ treasures, followed by a banquet and guest speaker. But probably the major highlight of these gatherings is just visiting with other kindred spirits who love letterpress.<\/p>\n

Follow THIS LINK<\/a> to learn about the workshops being offered in conjunction with this year\u2019s wayzgoose in an expanded format. There are a total of 15 workshops to choose from on Wednesday and Thursday, along with 1 additional on Sunday.<\/p>\n

WAYZGOOSE Letterpress SWAP MEET<\/span><\/h3>\n

Our Annual APA Wayzgoose Letterpress Swap Meet will take place at the International Printing Museum on Saturday morning. Swap Meet tables are $10 each. Approximately 30 tables are available and are a random mix of 6’x2\u00bd’ and 8’x2′. You may reserve up to 2 tables for the swap meet on the registration form.<\/p>\n

WAYZGOOSE Letterpress Auction<\/span><\/h3>\n

Our Annual APA Wayzgoose Letterpress Auction will take place at the International Printing Museum on Saturday afternoon. Just for clarity and reference, the only payments accepted for the auction will be cash, check, Zelle or pay with a credit card through PayPal.<\/p>\n

Continental BREAKFAST, Lunches & Dinner<\/span><\/h3>\n

Light Continental Breakfasts and full Lunches will be provided Friday & Saturday as a part of your basic reservation fee. The Saturday Night Dinner with speaker, Mark Barbour, is also included in your basic reservation fee. All provided meals will be served at The International Printing Museum. Additional dinner tickets are available, if needed.<\/p>\n

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS<\/a><\/h3>\n

Register early! The special deal we negotiated with the Holiday Inn Los Angeles Gateway – Torrance (the event hotel) expires on July 2, 2026. The rooms can only be booked at the special APA<\/strong><\/span> group rate by calling the phone number or clicking on the link on the HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS<\/a> page.<\/p>\n

The deal expires july 2nd, but early registration is strongly encouraged.<\/span><\/h3>\n

2026 LA ‘Goose Whatsapp group<\/span><\/h3>\n

WhatsApp is a free messaging app tied to your cellphone number which will allow the 2026 APA LA ‘Goose attendees to communicate during the wayzgoose.<\/p>\n
